The History of Go Karting (Or "Go Carts")

While indoor karting is not an entirely new concept, it is relatively new in this country. Already a huge business in Europe and Asia, it is just now making its ways in this country. There are currently about 80 indoor carting facilities in the USA. The main advantage of course, being all-indoor, there are no weather restraints!

From Carting to Professional Racers!

The go-kart circuit, however, has had a huge following for several decades now. It is usually how the "Big Names" get started in professional racing. The likes of Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon, and Michael Schumaker, have all started their professional careers racing on go karts. In fact, most of the winningest racers, of all different racing series -- F1, NASCAR, and even Indy Racing, started out racing these same type of high speed go-carts.

So, if you are ready to experience the closest thing to real racing, come check out the go carts at Rush Hour Karting located just outside Raleigh, NC, and experience the adrenalin rush for yourself!
